Reflections on the Writing Process
As a researcher I want to avoid overstating findings, but I also want the book to be genuinely readable. Striking that balance has been harder than expected. This book is intentionally different from existing wrestling literature — technique manuals, coaching philosophies, memoirs. I am writing something closer to a compass for deeper thinking about wrestling.
“This book is not a how-to manual for winning. Rather, it aspires to be a compass — a guide for readers who want to think deeply and continuously about their own wrestling.”
